I Joined the EP-DT group in 2014 and I pursue my career at CERN as a Staff member since October. I am a Mechanical engineer in the Engineering Office of the EP-DT group, specialized in design and manufacturing of advanced composite material components for CERN experiments. In the framework of the Atlas upgrade activities, in particular related to the ITk pixel phase II project, I contribute by expertise and use of the DT composite lab facilities to the production and qualification of composite material structural and thermal components of the future Atlas tracker.I also provide direct support in composite part manufacturing for other CERN experiments and machine sector, namely this year for the CMS tracker upgrade phase II, LHCb UT box, Aida Calorimeter, dipole cold feet and support the DT/MPT lab for the PCB stacking

I am an experimental physicist studying the weak interaction, taking part in the LHCb collaboration. I have performed high-precision measurements of CP violation using Run-1 data during my PhD. Also, I developed new techniques in the detector calibration, necessary to distinguish signals from physics beyond the Standard Model from detector biases. During my research fellow, I will build on this improved understanding of the detector in new measurements of CP asymmetries in beauty and charm hadrons, and contribute to the track reconstruction for the upcoming ambitious upgrades.

I recently joined EP-DT-TP. I have taken over several responsibilities in LHCb SciFi such as SiPM cooling with NOVEC, the isolation vacuum needed for the NOVEC lines and the dry gas needed in proximity to the SiPMs. I will also be part of the two person team leading the assembly of the SciFi detectors and this will eventually lead to installation and commissioning of the detector. I have also taken over the EP Scintillator Laboratory in connection with the Scintillator Workshop. I will be providing scientific and practical advice regarding scintillators and photodetectors for any CERN project/experiment.

I'm supporting the activity of the CERN group in the context of the NSW upgrade of ATLAS which represents one of the major commitments of the ADE group for the Phase1 upgrade. In particular I'm taking care of the quality control of the Micromegas readout boards for the NSW project, giving at the same time advise to Institutes where the boards will be assembled.

I joined the CMS experiment and EP-CMX group as a PhD student in 2012. For my PhD thesis, i developed a beam background monitoring system that was installed in CMS and commissioned during LS1. I continued as a fellow in our group and joined the Tracker Phase 2 Upgrade team. I have been focusing on the novel serial powering scheme, coordinating system tests and participating in the development of the future readout pixel chip. I am excited to continue this work and I am looking forward to facing the challenges of CMS Phase 2 Tracker.

I am a particle physicist and I have recently obtained my Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, working on the CMS experiment: I studied the diphoton decay of the Higgs boson with Run 2 data, with the main focus on differential cross section measurements; I also contributed to the Phase 1 Upgrade of the Pixel detector, developing testing setups and procedures for silicon modules. As a research Fellow in the EP-CMG group, I will explore further the Higgs boson sector, along with signatures of new physics, contributing at the same time to the development of the HGCAL for the Phase II Upgrade of CMS.

I joined the CERN ATLAS group as a research fellow in November. I am working on the commissioning of the new readout electronic boards of the ATLAS Liquid Argon calorimeter (LAr) used for the new trigger system, that will be installed during the LHC Long Shutdown 2. On the data analysis, I am working now on the measurement of the electroweak mixing angle with leptonic decay of the Z gauge boson, with Run-2 proton-proton collisions data. Previously, I was postdoc in the ATLAS group of LAPP (Annecy), and I did my PhD in the LHCb group of LAL (Orsay).
