CERN's summer student programme was like a dream came true for me, to be involved in an environment like CERN and I had an experience like nowhere on planet earth. I was the only one from Kurdistan/ Iraq, that made me so homesick at first. But shortly I got friends from all around the world and they were cool and lovely. The staff members were so friendly and helpful, after a short while of my stay the feeling of homesickness was gone and I felt like I'm home.

What I learnt was so much more that I can put in a paragraph, but the most valuable lesson for me was to learn how much left to learn, and how hard I should try to learn . Summer student program taught me to be always student, studying hard and learning.
